We're single pool owner/operators from Brisbane, AUS with an extensive background in IT & Marketing. We have a passion for blockchain and are huge advocates for not only Cardano but World Mobile where we help bridge the digital divide by processing WMT transactions via our Outback Earth Nodes.

Our Mission

We support and donate regularly to Cure Cancer AU and the Sony Foundation by hosting regular gaming charity streams. By supporting and donating to both of these charities, we as a pool will be helping raise funds for life-saving cancer research as well as funding emergency accommodation for regional youth cancer patients who must travel to the city for life saving treatment.

We are also proud members of the Mission Driven Pools collective, Single Pool Alliance, Cardano Bare Metal Alliance and SPOCRA (Stake Pool Operator Collective Representation Assembly).

How to Stake

  • 2) Transfer to a Cardano wallet

Download Daedalus on your PC or Yoroi on your mobile, create a wallet & transfer ADA from your Exchange to your new wallet address

  • 3) Stake with RETRO

Navigate to the delegation section in Daedalus or Yoroi wallets, search for RETRO stake pool & select delegate!

You are eligible for rewards once 2 Epochs pass (current and next). Each Epoch lasts for 5 days. Once the pool produces a block on the Cardano Blockchain, the pool margin and epoch fee are taken from the total pool stake before rewards are automatically distribruted to each delegate.

Pool and Node Statistics

We run 4 Intel i5 2.30Ghz NUC nodes for our main block producer and 3 relays. Each have 16Gb RAM and 250Gb NVMe. These are located in Brisbane and on the Gold Coast.

We may be a small & growing pool but we are consistently producing blocks every epoch and you will receive the same amount of rewards as larger more saturated pools. The network is designed to even out rewards no matter the number of blocks that are produced by a pool each epoch.

NFT Collection

We're extremely excited to offer this limited Pixel Retro Console cNFT collection for our delegators. There will be 6 consoles to a series and we'll be dropping series 1 to our delegators under a single policy in early September.
The Series 1 drop is now closed as of 31/08/2021 23:59 AEST.

About Cardano

Cardano was founded in 2015 by Ethereum co-founder Charles Hoskinson. Cardano is a public blockchain platform that aims to run smart contracts. It is open source and decentralized, with consensus achieved using proof of stake. Cardano uses Ouroboros (a proof-of-stake algorithm) to create blocks and validate transactions occurring on its blockchain. It can facilitate peer-to-peer transactions with its internal cryptocurrency ADA.

A stake pool is a reliable server node that is committed to run the protocol 24/7, on behalf of the contributing ada holders. Stake pools hold the combined stake of various stakeholders in a single entity and are responsible for processing transactions and producing new blocks. Ouroboros collects rewards from an epoch and distributes them among stake pools and stakeholders. Each is rewarded based on the proportion of their stake contributed during the epoch, meaning a higher stake will receive more rewards.

Three organizations are responsible for Cardano’s development: IOHK, Cardano Foundation and EMURGO. The first two are non-profit foundations and the third is a for-profit entity. IOHK is responsible for building Cardano and work with a team of academics spread out across the world to produce research and review platform updates before implementation to ensure that they are scalable.
